Leland Ryken is professor of English at Wheaton College, Illinois.
is the Professor of Biblical Studies, and Chair of the Religious Studies department at Westmont College, Santa Barbara, California. He has written many articles and books, including "Literary Approaches to Biblical Interpretation", "Old Testament Commentary Survey" and commentaries on Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs and Daniel. He is co-editor of the "Dictionary of Biblical Imagery", and Old Testament editor for the revised "Expositor's Bible Commentary".
