is Professor of Theology, Ministry and Education, and Head of the Centre for Theology, Religion and Culture at King's College, London. He is a former principal of Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, and was the first Director of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. Once an atheist, he is now one of Christianity's leading writers and a well-known scholar and teacher whose clear thinking and logical, lucid style enable us to grasp complex subjects and in turn explain them to others.
