He is married to Margaret and they have three married daughters and seven grandchildren. David is a member of St Nicholas Church, Sevenoaks.
is International Director of Micah International. Joel is also also a commissioner for the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Until September 2008 he was General Director of the Evangelical Alliance - an historic appointment when in 1997 he became the first black General Director in the Alliance's 150-year history. Joel and his wife currently worship at their local Assemblies of God church.
