Married for God
Making your marriage the best it can be
Christopher Ash
This book turns our thinking upside down. The author examines the Bible’s teaching on marriage, while remaining firmly earthed in the twenty-first-century world where messing up, heartbreak, divorce and sexual chaos are distressingly common. Starting with God’s grace applied to our pain and failure, the author centres on God’s plan for sex and marriage, one of service.
‘Refreshing, rigorous and readable. This book acts as a corrective to exaggerated claims and self-indulgent attitudes concerning wedlock endemic in our culture and becomes a call to joyful biblical simplicity and true God-centred liberty in marriage.’
John Benton (Pastor, Chertsey Street Baptist Church, Guildford and Editor, Evangelicals Now) and Ann Benton (Chairman, London Women’s Convention)
‘An excellent, challenging and helpful book.’
Martin and Elizabeth Goldsmith, Conference Speakers, and Associate Lecturers, All Nations Christian College

A really good book.
This is an excellent book on how we, as Christians, should view, and live in, marriage. It is, by quite a way, the best book that I've read on marriage and would recommend it for pretty much everyone. Obviously it applies to married couples, but as a single person, its helped me with my attitudes towards marriage through understanding better what God made marriage for and thus what he desires it to be. I really do thoroughly recommend that you buy this book and read it at least twice.
